I’m Olivia!
Born and raised in Australia, I recently quit my 9 to 5 job career in travel marketing to solo travel and be my own boss.
Like many people, I followed the traditional path to happiness and success – going to University, getting the dream job, the whole deal.
But surprise, that didn’t quite cut it. After too many hours sitting behind a desk in an office, I found myself yearning for more, questioning my purpose, and facing a bit of an identity crisis.
So, what was my move?
I packed my bags and embarked on my first solo adventure. And boy, did that flip the script!
From the gorgeous beaches of Australia, the blue holes of Vanuatu, the ski fields in Japan, to the rice fields in Bali, I’ve extensively travelled the Asia Pacific region and beyond and I’m not slowing down anytime soon!
Travelling in your twenties? I like to think it’s like uncovering this secret source of empowerment and life-changing moments.
To support my huge travel goals I created this travel blog and started freelancing for other travel creators. Now, it gives me the ultimate flexibility, allowing me to travel longer and work on the road. It was no easy stint, I worked my arse off whilst still working full-time! But I am incredibly grateful for the life of adventure it is unlocked.
As I write this I am currently on a 3-month trip to Spain, UK, Turkey, and Portugal, beats an office any day! 🙂
